IPV Space Program

Project BootStrap
I. Build membership, funds, planning and preparations for space activities, 1 to 2 years
II. Begin bi-monthly space activities;

  • 1. Launch 1 capsule with 3 spacers (Team 1) and 1 cargo ship to LEO (ISS), start work on IPV LEO Station
  • 2. Launch 2nd cargo ship, continue work on IPV LEO Station.
  • 3. Launch 2nd capsule with 3 spacers (Team 2) and 3rd cargo ship, continue IPV LEO Station, assemble ISS waste recycling system.
  • 4. Launch 4th cargo ship, customized for moon mission, complete recycle system, start on moon expedition configurations.
  • 5. Launch 3rd capsule with 3 spacers (Team 3) and 5th cargo ship, both customized for moon expedition, continue work on station and expedition configuration.
  • 6. Launch 6th cargo ship customized for moon expedition, complete expedition preparations and station configuration.
  • 7. Launch 4th capsule with 3 spacers (Team 4) and 7th cargo ship, customized for moon expedition. Teams 1 & 2 take 2 capsules and 4 cargo ships (reconfigured for moon expedition) to the moon, Team 1 lands and starts configuring the moon base, Team 2 orbits and starts configuring the High Lunar Orbit Station.
  • 8. Separate from ISS to new orbit, Launch 8th supply ship, customized for deep space mission, start mission prep.
  • 9. launch 5th capsule with 3 spacers (Team 5) and 1 cargo ship (cargo ship customized for deep space), Team 3 takes 1 capsule to HLO Station, Team 2 goes to moon base, continue deep space mission prep.
  • 10. Launch 10th cargo ship customized for deep space, continue all prep work.
  • 11. Launch 6th capsule, new model carries 6 spacers (Team 6), customized for HLO-LEO shuttle, Launch 11th cargo ship, customized for LL1, Team 4 & 5 take shuttle and cargo ship to HLO, Team 4 goes to LL1, Team 5 stays at HLO, Team 3 goes to moon base.
  • 12. Launch 7th capsule 6 spacers (Team 7), 12th cargo ship, Team 6 takes 2 capsules and 4 cargo ships on deep space mission (Asteroid mining and Mars Base).

    When this phase is complete there will be 27 spacers in space and monthly launches of supplies, materials and personnel;

    Nine spacers at moon base (Teams 1, 2 & 3), 1 moon/HLO shuttle, 1 moon flyer

  • 2 doctors, 2 tech engineers, 2 chemical engineers, 1 geologist, 2 construction engineers
  • Medical Facilities, Mining operations, light manufacturing

    Three Spacers on HLO Station (Team 5), 1 moon-HLO shuttle,

  • Lunar survey, communications, cargo transfer, two comm. sats

    Three Spacers on LL1 Station (Team 4), 1 LEO/HLO shuttle,

  • Materials processing, Communications, Construction, Deep Space Monitoring

    Six Spacers in Deep Space headed for Asteroids and Mars Prep. (Team 6), 2 ships

  • 2 Doctors, 2 Geologists, 2 Chemical Engineers (all with expedition cross training)

    Six at IPV LEO Station (Team 7), one 6 seat capsule,

  • Mission staging, space dock, research, space resort.

    The moon base will contain construction and mining operations and medical facilities, the HLO station will handle transfers from the moon to LEO and LL1, and LL1 will be a processing and construction facility. Personnel launches would increase to one per month during the second year, with each launch taking 4 to 6 people into orbit.

    That is a very aggressive plan, and not one that NASA or any other government space agency would consider. NASA does have plans to return to the moon, with 4 people, in 2020.
